From ancient times, astrologers have recognized a sharp correlation between planetary alignments and human experiences.  For some contemporary counselors and psychotherapists, astrlogy continues to serve as an extraordinary diagnostic and therapeutic tool.

But what is the difference between psychological astrology and its misconceptions in mainstream society?  And how can astute practitioners apply archetypal cosmology -- a unique psychological modality -- to enhance their practice?

Find out in a special filmed presentation at The Graduate Institute featuring licensed psychotherapist and professional astrologer Glenn Perry, Ph.D.

The event will be filmed for broadcast on the internet and social media networks.

We're calling this the #swCT Hour: Saturday, July 10 from 10 to 11 am, we will make Social Web Week CT a trending topic in Twitter by tweeting the following message:

Ready, Set, Social! Welcome to #swCT - SocialWebWeekCT! 30 events in 7 days: http://socialwebct.com

This the first of 30 events, the one that kicks-off the first ever Social Web Week CT:

  • Where: Penthouse, Omni Hotel New Haven
  • When: Saturday, July 10 at 10:00 t 11:00 am
  • What: We, of the grassroots all across CT who took swCT from vision to kickoff in under 40 days, will have the honor of "ribbon-cutting" and declaring the week open. This "ceremony 2.0" takes place in 3 parts:
    • Group shout: "Ready, Set, Social! Welcome to #swCT - Social Web Week CT! 30 events in 7 days!"
    • Capture group shout as web video and tweet a unified message: "Ready, Set, Social! Welcome..." including video link leaves about 20 characters for RTs
    • We'll send off Culinary Walking Tour and All-Day Tweasure Hunt!

Bring friends and family - the more the merrier, the louder our shout!

Are you with us?

Join us to explore New Haven Retail Stores at your leisure throughout the week, seeking hidden Tweasures and tweeting accordingly.

New Haven has so much to offer anyone who loves to shop and values a combination of quality product and great service.  From Saturday 7/10  through Thursday 7/15 our Retail TweasureHunt will be happening to give you plenty of time to find the Tweasures.

The following retailers will be expecting us starting around 11 am on Saturday 7/10:

  1. Grand Vin, 28 East Grand Avenue. (Check in on Foursquare)
  2. Fairhaven Furniture, 72 Blatchley Avenue.(Check in on Foursquare)
  3. Fashionista, 93 Whitney Avenue. (Check in on Foursquare)
  4. The English Building Markets, 839 Chapel Street. (Check in on Foursquare)

  9. Trailblazer, 296 Elm Street. (Check in on Foursquare)
  10. Kerin, 268 York Street
  11. Enclave, 23 Broadway

This is how it works:

  1. TweasureHunt maps will be available online and throughout the week at swCT events.
  2. TweasureHunt-ers may visit as many or as few of the participating retail stores throughout the week, as their time allows.
  3. While in a store the TweasureHunt-ers explore and accomplish a requested task.
  4. They report that task via social web including all required information, photos, hashtags etc.
  5. At the end of the day, all TweasureHunt-ers who visited a particular store will be entered into a drawing for the Hidden Tweasure that was donated by that retailer.
  6. The drawing will be taking place shortly after 6pm, at a location to be named later , on Thursday 7/15.  You need not be present to win, but it would simplify the delivery of your Tweasure. We will be Tweeting and Facebooking the winner from each #TweasureHunt retailer and will get your Tweasure to you either way.
